Shopee 11.11 Big Sale concludes on a high note with 200 million items sold on 11 November across the region.
Shopee has successfully created a big impact at 11.11 Big Sale, building on its vision to make e-commerce for everyone. Powered by tremendous support from consumers and businesses in each of its seven markets, Shopee saw robust sales momentum throughout the day, uplifting businesses in the region while bringing excitement to consumers.
Across the region, sellers participating in the 11.11 Big Sale for the first time saw 10 times more orders than an average day, as Shopee unlocked new opportunities for entrepreneurs and SMEs.
Consumers gathered at Shopee across the 11.11 Big Sale period to shop, play, and forge meaningful interactions. More than 20 million hours of live streams were watched on Shopee Live, while Shopee's in-app games were played more than 2.5 billion times.

Highlights of Shopee 11.11 Big Sale in Malaysia
In Malaysia, 11.11 Big Sale created a spike in shopping activity as people turned to Shopee for the best deals from their favourite brands and sellers, while enjoying greater convenience through Shopee's ecosystem.
Home and Living, Electronics as well as Groceries and Pets Products were the best selling categories.
Key trends include:
- Empowering Malaysian MSMEs: The surge in shopping activity on 11 November created tangible growth for local businesses. The top 3,000 Malaysian MSMEs on Shopee achieved an average of RM55,000 in sales from the 11.11 Big Sale yesterday.
- Strong demand in the major cities: Predictably, major states like Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Johor clocked in high shopping activities with 650,000 items sold in an hour in Selangor at the peak of 11 November.
- Growing confidence and trust in online shopping: The largest single transaction made by one user on the platform within the first 8 hours of the online shopping event amounted to RM70,000.
- Malaysians turn to Shopee for household needs amidst stay-at-home efforts: MILO, detergent, hand sanitizers, disinfectant, smart robot vacuum cleaners, air fryers, cookware sets as well as pet food continue to be Malaysians' favourite. This also includes the sales of over 560,000 snacks, of which 1 in 5 were packets of the Samyang Hot Chicken noodles. Home improvement products such as tools and fittings, flooring, splashback and wall panels too recorded a high demand with close to 1 million items sold.
- Surge in demand for electronics: Malaysians made full use of Shopee's exclusive deals to refresh their gadgets. Xiaomi saw its bestsellers Redmi Note 8, Mi True Wireless Earbuds and Mi Band 4C flying off the virtual shelves. Meanwhile, HUAWEI recorded about RM1 million in sales just on its Matebook D 15 within the first 10 minutes of the sale on Shopee.
